1. How do I create an account? top
Here is more information about the "Your Account" feature:
- -You do not need to log in or create an account to make a purchase.
- -Our website will store your purchases under your email address automatically.
- -The "Your Account" log in area is only to retrieve downloads for purchases from 11/2011 to present. We are unable to access purchases made before that date.
- -Designs are downloadable following checkout AND emailed to you automatically after your purchase.
- -The "Your Account" log in area is only necessary if you don't download your designs or if you lose them.
2. I have my password but I can't get in to my account! top
If your password is not working, try another browser. For those of you who use Chrome (including myself), Chrome likes to plug in stored info for your username and password (most likely from another website). Try Internet Explorer or another browser instead. You can also clear your cache or browsing history. If neither of those work, then email me! Please give me as much info as possible so I can help!
3. I requested my account password but I haven't received it. top
If you requested your password for "My Account" but did not receive it, check your spam folder. Not there? Email me! I can easily look it up for you. Also, Gmail seems to have a thing with password emails so if you are a Gmail user and don't receive it and it's not in your spam folder, shoot me an email and I can send it to you!
4. What do I need before I purchase designs? top
You will need the proper embroidery machine and equipment, embroidery software and/or programs in order to transfer the design from your computer to your embroidery machine. Applique Cafe sells Sew What-Pro embroidery software used for opening, merging and editing embroidery and applique files. You can find out more about SWP on our home page.
These are not iron on or sew on designs. Due to the digital nature of this product there are NO REFUNDS.
5. What sizes and formats do you offer? top
You will receive a zip file with the following formats: ART, PES, JEF, SEW, XXX, VIP, EXP, DST, & HUS. Included in each zip file is also a JPG Thread Chart. If you need a format not listed, please contact me!
Most designs come in 3 sizes: 4x4 hoop, 5x7 hoop and 6x10 hoop
Mini designs come in 2 sizes: 1.5" and 3.0"
We have a hand full of designs that are too wide for the 4x4 hoop and therefore only come in 5x7 and 6x10.
6. When will I receive my applique designs? top
Our website offers instant download 24/7! You will have three chances to download your design(s).
1) You will have the opportunity to download your design files immediately following the Paypal checkout process. You should be redirected to a download page when your payment is complete.
2) The design(s) you purchase are also automatically and immediately e-mailed to you for download. Please double check the e-mail address you enter upon checkout. You will have 7 days to download the file(s). Check your spam folder if you don't see your download e-mail immediately. Still nothing? Contact me through the website!
3) You can now log in using the "Your Account" tab and retrieve your purchases (November 2011 to present).
7. How do I add a name or initials to a design? top
I highly recommend Sew What-Pro software for merging and editing. It's an affordable program and you can download a 30 day trial before you buy it! Find out more on our home page.
8. I need a special design. Do you do custom designs? top
We only do custom designs if we would also sell them. If you have a special request, please contact me! Our applique design time is often limited to the upcoming season. We cannot do designs that would be considered licensed or trademarked (Disney, school logos, etc.)
